Harry Winston Ocean Date Moon Phase Automatic.
Summer brings to mind all sorts of fun: outdoor sports, beach days and vacations. But to the watch lover, it is also one more opportunity to indulge in timepieces that evoke the season and all its possibilities—long after the dog days are over. Here are a few examples to get your fantasies rolling.
Artya Aqua Carbon Divers
This limited edition of COSC-certified automatic dive watches comprises an exclusive series of just 99 unique pieces. The lightweight 43mm case features an asymmetrical bezel that evokes ocean waves, while the screw-down crown is inspired by a submarine hatch. Each dial/case variation is carved from a colorful high-tech composite that combines resin and carbon fragments, making it shock and pressure resistant.
H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds
The Streamliner Centre Seconds is celebrating summer with a new and striking “Purple Haze” fumé dial with a fetching sunburst pattern. The 40mm stainless steel watch is fitted with an automatic caliber, the HMC 201, driving the hours, minutes and central seconds. The superbly decorated movement features partially skeletonized bridges and an 18-karat gold oscillating weight. The watch comes on an integrated steel bracelet.
Harry Winston Ocean Date Moon Phase Automatic
The new Ocean Date Moon Phase Automatic from Harry Winston is crafted in rose gold adorned with 38 carats of diamonds. This latest addition to the Ocean Collection is a limited edition of five pieces, each decorated with baguette- and brilliant-cut diamonds, as well as one signature emerald-cut diamond. The 42mm watch is powered by an automatic movement with a silicon balance spring and a rose gold rotor set with 26 baguette-cut diamonds. This exquisite piece is fitted with a diamond-studded rose gold bracelet.
Oris Aquis Date “Taste of Summer” Watermelon
This 41.5mm stainless steel timepiece offers dial shades in refreshing green or sunny red. Following the well-loved Aquis Date playbook, it features a three-link bracelet and an elegant slim profile, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, and a screw-in crown. The transparent caseback offers a view of the Swiss-made automatic movement. The one-off series will be offered for a limited time and, like summer, when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Sport Chronograph
The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph is equipped with a high-frequency COSC-certified manufacture movement with an integrated chronograph and 65 hours of power reserve. The skeletonized oscillating weight recalls the steering wheel of the emblematic Ferrari 250 GTO, and the Milano blue dial features hand-applied rhodium-plated 18-karat gold indexes with black luminescent coating. The coordinating Milano blue rubber strap is fitted with a stainless steel folding clasp. Additional Tonda PF Sport Chronograph variations include models in Arctic Grey and London Grey.
Ulysse Nardin Diver Skeleton OPS
The 44mm Diver Skeleton OPS is water resistant to 200 meters and features the brand’s skeletonized automatic movement, UN-372, which showcases an oversized oscillator and a silicon escapement. Its ultra-modern design is enhanced by the large X structure that anchors the dial, while the sleek case is in titanium with a black DLC coating. The khaki green fabric strap is made in part from upcycled fishing nets.
